WHO WE ARE

The Artbook bookstores are independent and vibrant sources of timeless publications on contemporary art and the humanities on the East and West Coast. A treasure trove of international art titles from more than 800 publishers, we carry an extensive selection of books on art and photo monographs, art writing, criticism and confrontational literature. The book launches, signings, lectures, and performances Artbook bookstores have hosted over many years complement our mission to highlight the doers and thinkers whose works we support.

A gift card allows someone you care about to choose the book that becomes their best friend. You select the amount: it could be a secret code, a certain date known to you two, an anniversary, a first encounter, or a next date. Your message is not limited to the amount, because you can also include a 200-character note. Though short, it can be very meaningful: an inside joke, a link to your song or a favorite film, lots of emojis...
