One Square Foot is a limited-edition artist's book by Andrew Kass, published in conjunction with his site-specific project of the same name. Conceived during the renovation of a Chinatown storefront, the project used the construction site as a drawing tool: rolls of paper laid across the floor captured dust, scuff marks, and traces of daily labor. After the build-out was completed, the sheets were cut into uniform one-square-foot sections—transforming construction residue into discrete, serialized artworks. The book reproduces each piece at full scale, serving as a complete visual catalogue of the series.
