Maurizio Cattelan (b. 1960) is an artist who committed himself to publishing Toilet Paper magazine in 2011.

Pierpaolo Ferrari (b. 1971) is a fashion and advertising photographer and creative researcher. In 2009, he teamed up with Maurizio Cattelan to create Toilet Paper.
